New Yarn
It won't last long!
I haven't even labeled this yarn yet, but I have listed it on the website. There are three natural shades in a fingering weight and 2 blends and a solid in a worsted weight yarn of Jacob wool. I also have a sparkly white BFL yarn.

Kyle Vincent Concert
September 20, 2012, 2 p.m.
Join us in the barn on September 30 for a concert by Kyle Vincent. Kyle performs all over the U.S. and in Japan and, being my cousin, consented to try out the Barn Venue last year. We had so much fun that he will do it again! (Not even the off-key and out-of-rhythm sheep accompaniment dissuaded him.) Kyle's music was described by one of my friends as eco-folk-romantic-pop. Listen to the song here and at the link on my website and come to your own conclusion.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids under 12. Reserve your space by sending a check to Meridian Jacobs at the address at the end of this newsletter.

Gourmet Lamb Order lamb now
Now is the time to order your custom lamb for the freezer. Even people who "don't like lamb" have been pleasantly surprised by the mild flavor and tenderness of a Jacob lamb chop right off the grill. Expect 25 to 35 pounds of meat. Split a lamb with a friend if you can't take a whole one. Details are here. If you are interested or have questions e-mail me so I can reserve your lamb now.

Dye class/Spinning class
It's been awhile since I have taught the rainbow dye class. I'd like to schedule one for the fall so e-mail me if you are interested. I'll set up a date when I know who wants to sign up.
Two Learn to Spin series are coming up soon. One is Monday evenings beginning August 13 and the other is Saturday afternoons beginning September 1. Sign up right away if you want a place in one of these.
