Meet Fogerty
Heading to the fair!
Fogerty is a yearling ram who will be one of the fall flock sires. Before that he will be visiting the California State Fair. The fair just began and some of my ewes are already there. They will be lambing soon in the Nursery. Fogerty and 7 others from the flock will be at the fair from July 26-29. Fogerty will have his every need taken care of while at the fair, but I can always use some help. I staff my sheep exhibit through the whole 4 days of the sheep show and always like to have friends come to spin, help keep the aisle clean, talk to the public, and support the sheep show. Contact me if you'd like more information. By the way, the Jacob sheep will be in the show ring sometime Saturday afternoon.

Don't watch this video expecting to be wowed by lambs jumping, sheep talking, or anything very exciting. Instead, consider it the video equivalent of those nature sounds CD's you can buy. I took these clips after spending 4 days driving back and forth to The City to be a vendor in a cold, windowless conference hall. What a relief to be back home. Enjoy!

 Learn to Weave
2-day class
There are two spaces available in the Learn to Weave class coming up in August. This class is suitable for people who have never woven before and for those who want to reinforce their warping and weaving skills.

New Yarn!
I just received the first of my 2012 yarn. Here is white Jacob wool in a fingering weight yarn. There is some luscious brown CVM yarn also. I expect the rest of the yarn any time and will keep you posted.
