Meet Peaches
Peaches was dumped at a high kill shelter and we feel so lucky that we were able to save this lovable pup! Super sweet and social, Peaches is your typical lab -- extremely smart and eager to please! And even though she's only one year old, her energy isn't excessive (like most lab babies). Housetrained and good with dogs and kids, Peaches is already a superstar and just needs a home and family to love! Learn more about Peaches here.

Updates on Little Greg and Peggy Sue
 |
Little Greg
|
Adopter, Bianca Strzelczyk, writes, About two and a half years ago, my fiance Jack and I decided we wanted to adopt a dog, and after reading Little Greg's (then known as Roscoe) story online, we knew he was the one for us. Little Greg (LG) had lived on the streets for the first half of his life so he was timid and nervous around strangers. At first, he didn't even want to come inside our apartment and just laid in the doorway! But we could tell he was a total sweetheart (just look at that face!), and that with a little tender love and care (and some bacon) he'd warm right up. And boy did he ever! These days, LG is a completely different dog. He's comfortable in his own skin and is one super happy pup. He loves snuggling with us on the couch (under the blanket!), laying in the sun, and going for runs. It's been amazing and heartwarming to watch his transformation, and we're blessed to have him in our lives!

Peggy Sue
|
About a year after we adopted LG, Jack and I decided we wanted to rescue another pup. We knew LG would benefit from a friend and so we reached out to CPR and Danielle to find a match. That's how Peggy Sue came into our lives. And did we ever luck out with her! Peggy Sue LOVES life -- every day and every moment is better than the last -- and this super outgoing and playful personality won LG over instantly. They're the best of friends! Peggy's nonstop joy is contagious and her zest for life brings happiness to everyone around her (including our cat!).
These two pups have changed our lives for the better -- we couldn't imagine not having these happy faces to greet us when we come home from work. We absolutely love them to pieces and will be forever grateful to CPR (and Danielle) for bringing us all together!
