Greetings!

On May 15 our colleagues from the OFCCP Phoenix District & Las Vegas Field Offices will make a special presentation to our group on information requests pursuant to Executive Order 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act, the Vietnam Veterans' Readjustment and Assistance Act of 1974 and the Jobs for Veterans Act of 2002.

During the presentation, special focus will be given to

  • Data collection and reporting timelines for contractors when scheduled for OFCCP Compliance Evaluations;
  • OFCCP's authority and rationale for requesting additional information; and
  • The relevance of the information OFCCP may request.

Specific case examples will be used to illustrate OFCCP's interpretation and application of the laws they enforce. The audience will also be informed of compliance evaluation phases and the information OFCCP typically needs to satisfy each phase, including explanations of typical items required in the "Itemized list for the on-site investigation." The regulations from which this presentation will be founded are: 41-CFR Chapters 60-1, 60-2, 60-250, 60-300, and 60-741.
