Further to the announcement in our December Newsletter and further to various requests from our labels to allow the distribution of secure download links in combination with a voucher code, and in our ever continuing effort to provide our clients with the tools they need, The Source is proud to introduce its new voucher portal!
The voucher portal is a website which the public and your prospective or existing clients can use to download complementary or promotional material that you wish to offer them. For example: bonus tracks, goody bags, pictures, complete albums (zipped), video clips, ringtones, etc. The portal can be used to give away promotional items with books, CDs or DVDs, via websites, online advertisements, your business card or any other way you would like to issue a code and a link. The portal will take care of providing the secure download to your customer, as an on screen link or via an email, as well as all the necessary verifications and administration.
The portal can be used with a standard The Source web interface (unskinned) for entering the code and retrieving the link, but can also easily be branded and styled to match the company or artist issuing the voucher (skinned). All texts can be edited or adapted to fit your needs, even with multiple language support!
Other customization options include an adjustable input form which allows you to collect information such as name, age, or whichever information you would like to collect from the individuals redeeming the vouchers. Thanks to the flexible set-up of the system you can do a lot of the customization yourself saving both time and money. We can get your customized portal up and running in almost no time at all!
Finally, if you would rather build the user interface yourself, the voucher portal can double as an API too. So you can build the form and post it to the portal (which does all the validation), and in return you will get a link and a message that a mail has been sent.
