iTunes Lands in 12 New European Markets
The iTunes Store is now live in 12 additional markets, bringing their music offering to a total of 29 countries across Europe.
The new markets include:
Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, & Slovenia.
The store will be part of the Pan-European store and will be the same in each territory. All prices and store functionality such as pre-orders, links to Facebook and Twitter, etc., are available.

iTunes offers Movies in The Netherlands and Belgium.
Good news for movie fans in the Netherlands and Belgium, Apple has finally added movies to the iTunes store. Until now, movies were only available to some European countries, Japan and in the U.S. iTunes movies are available at Euro 8 for library title purchases and Euro 12 for new releases. iTunes movie rentals are Euro 3 for library title rentals.There are currently 270 films available, some in HD Ready quality. A complete list of available films is available online. TV series are not yet available in the Dutch iTunes store. Also the question is whether Apple will release Apple TV in the Netherlands. This set-top box has a direct connection to the iTunes store, where movies can be streamed directly to a TV. The Source Is supplying iTunes with full length concert films. If you have concert films with digital distribution rights please contact your label manager.

Placement Requests
We have a new sheet for placement and priority requests. This new sheet allows up to request priority placement on all services in an efficient way. In order for your titles to be considered for featuring, it is essential that you submit this sheet at least 3 weeks in advance. Before you submit the sheet make sure the releases on the CE and "Ready for delivery", this might require 2 extra weeks for processing! Forecast & Market Share projections are still required for any title being pitched for *prominent* featuring. This information can be supplied on a separate sheet. The sheet can be downloaded from the instruction section on the ContentEditor.
