PTA Meeting Kicks off with 107 Parents
Like the President's mantra "Yes We Can" the PTA kicked off our first meeting with an overflowing show of support from parents (current and new members). The meeting was power-packed with activities led by John Landesman (PTA President), where we connected by breaking bread together over pupusas and pizza, sharing information about each other's cultures, meeting some of our teachers, and getting the scoop on school initiatives that were presented by Ms. Ryan, our Assistant Principal. Deb Davies, our PTA Treasurer, also shared with the group PTA initiatives from a budgetary view. Ms. Pulliam, our Principal, was also on hand to answer questions and address concerns. The meeting was a success and couldn't have been possible without the help from the Parent Ambassadors, the speakers, and to all of you who attended.
