Synectic is very pleased to be the recipient of a grant from the National Institute of Health in collaboration with Albert Einstein College of Medicine for the development of a self contained diagnostic device. This initial design will serve as a platform for future diagnostic tests for home and hospital use.

Synectic is also sponsoring a senior design project with University of Connecticut and Gaylord Hospital, Wallingford, CT. As part of this senior project students will design and engineer a boat to be both accessible and functional for persons with handicapped abilities. This program is aimed at providing sports as a means of therapy to disabled athletes of various disabilities.

Synectic continues to grow in business and has expanded its staff again. This time, in our sales department with the addition of Joe Trygar, VP Sales & Business Development; Mac McMurray, Sales Representative; Mark Berger, Sales Representative and Lizbeth Mead, Sales Associate.   We also have a new Office Manager, Deb Konkos.
