In the Spotlight
Kitty MacLean '10
MVC Volunteer
Mercy Medical Center
Baltimore, Maryland
"Being a part of the ministry of the Sisters of Mercy is the first real experience I have had where I truly believe in the 'product.' These women have inspired so many people, including me, to spread the compassion and gentle love of the Lord to everyone. The women I see everyday and know well who have pledged their life to the service of God are a testament to the original vision of Catherine McAuley, their foundress. Together with lay people such as Mercy Associates and Companions, and Mercy Volunteers the mission is far-reaching and we are slowly but surely meeting the needs of our time." |
