Welcome to the Lake Ontario 300 Challenge!


We are excited as we get closer to the first offshore event of the season; the deadline for registration in the Coolest Race on the Lake is midnight Monday! Don't pass up this great opportunity! The Coolest Race on the Lake
Susan Hood Trophy Race Update

SHTR LogoThis Friday June 3rd at 8pm will be the official start of the offshore racing season with the start of the Coolest Race on the Lake -The Susan Hood Trophy Race.
Hopefully we've exhausted the bad weather that would normally come through next weekend, which will make this year race even more enjoyable for what looks like another record turnout. 
We have over 65 entries to date and history has dictated that close to half our participants register at the last moment. 
The Entry List and the Preliminary Scratch Sheet are available on Yacht Scoring
Don't wait until it's too late; registration deadline is midnight on Monday, May 30th. We have a limited number of skipper's shirts that will be distributed by date of registration. 
New for this year we also have a limited number of Susan Hood Trophy Race promotional T-shirts (long sleeve).  They will be on sale starting Friday afternoon and also at the Sperry Top-Sider Post Race Reception (if there are any left!).
Line Honour winners for this year's Susan Hood Trophy Race will have something extra to celebrate with after the race. Champagne for the winners! The line honour winners will be celebrating on shore with a magnum of Champagne in true style.
The Sperry Top-Sider Post Race reception is set to go with great "yacht dogs" and the Division flag presentation.
NOTES: to all yachts coming into PCYC for this event please fill out the Visiting Yacht Registration Form posted on the Susan Hood Trophy Race website. Please note if you have intentions of staying over Saturday night, please note this on your form so our harbour staff can better accommodate you when you finish the race.

Register for the Lake Ontario 300 Challenge prior to the start of this year's Susan Hood Trophy Race and Qualify to win a pair of Bushnell Binoculars.
At the Susan Hood Post Race Party on Saturday afternoon, sponsored by Sperry Top-Sider, a draw will be held from all the Lake Ontario 300 entries to that point and one lucky skipper will walk away with these great binoculars.
