SCA Sponsors the Silvermine Community Clean-Up

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As flowers and trees bloom around us and the grass begins to grow again, roadside trash becomes even more unsightly.  This harsh winter created ideal conditions for litter to accumulate and become matted under several heavy snowfalls. This weekend the SCA is rallying in an effort remove this trash from our countryside landscape and put it in its proper place. Please join us at the Silvermine Elementary School on Saturday afternoon to aid this effort by volunteering a couple of hours of your time in service to your Community.  Details follow.
Our Mission
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The mission of the Norwalk Association of Silvermine Homeowners (NASH) is to provide a voice for Silvermine as a historic, cultural and natural resource. We support a vision of a rural neighborhood within whose boundaries change can continue to occur while the feeling of community and the "sense of place" remain strong, the important historic structures are preserved, and the existing biodiversity, in all its richness, is not compromised.
