Starbucks in Lee & Collier Counties Help Collect Books for Children in Need
There's four days remaining to drop off books at any Starbucks store for children in need to read over the summer. Starbucks have been collecting the books throughout April in recognition of the company's Global Month of Service. The public is invited to drop off books for children of all ages, from toddlers to teens, at any Starbucks store into the red baskets provided. Children are encouraged to help their parents select a favorite book from the book store or dust off the bookshelves at home to choose a book for a less fortunate child. Books donated or purchased with monies donated will be distributed in May. All books will benefit the local children in the county in which they are raised.
