Track Wayne County Road Conditions Online
| Friend
Heading from your home to work? Going to a movie or dinner? Wondering about the road conditions now that winter has (somewhat) arrived?
Your Wayne County Compass system is now available online.
The Wayne County Compass, based on your preferred settings, will display real-time traffic issues, traffic cameras, locations of road maintenance trucks such as snow plows, and weather radar. You select the settings at http://compass.waynecounty.com/ by clicking on "Map Options" and turning on or off the specific items. Just like most online maps, you may move about the map image using the zoom toggle bar to the left and move east, west, north or south using your mouse.
This online system will also display the satellite version of the Wayne County road system.
This is a free public service intended for you, residents and visitors to prepare for your next drive on Wayne County roads. The goal is to better traffic flow, reduce accidents and improve safety during inclement weather.
Also, you may register road complaints online and read information here about possibly filing pothole claims.
Along with building transparency in Wayne County government, my priorities remain to improve county infrastructure including roads, elevate parks and recreation, and protect and enhance youth and senior services.
Together, we'll make Wayne County the ideal place to live, work and play in the USA!
