Honoring Gerard Grant Phillips

Dear Friend,
Gerard Grant Phillips, my close friend as well as a friend and confidant to many elected leaders, passed away on Sunday, May 8 due to complications from pnemonia. He will be sorely missed as his life was ended prematurely.
 Gerard's obituary is in yesterday's Detroit News. Memorial services will be held this Friday, May 13 at Saint Leo's Parish at 4860 15th Street in Detroit (map) beginning at 11 am with family hour and funeral service at noon.
My thoughts and prayers go to Gerard's family as we join them to celebrate his many meaningful contributions to our region and the nation.
