As you can see our parking lot tends to be a bit crazy at times. We ask for the safety of everyone that you are diligent about following directional arrows to avoid any accidents. |

Featured Family of the Month/In the News
Because we consider MHDC an extended family we would love to hear more about you. Therefore, beginning in our next newsletter (third week of October) we will be featuring one of our MHDC families. How do you become that family? Submit a 2 paragraph description of your family. Include what town you live in. Can also include... How many children in your family. Mom and Dads occupation if you choose. Other activities you enjoy and anything else you would like to share. Would love to know why you chose MHDC and what you enjoy most about our school. Submit by 10/5 along with a picture of your family or dancer to mhdcdance@comcast.net to be considered for our October addition. Any that come in after that date will be part of the selection process for the months to follow. We will put all submissions in a hat and choose the feature family of the month. Don't worry if you are not chosen the first time we will keep you in the running for furture issues. How cool would it be for your dancer to see their family featured? These families will also then be featured on our website!
In the News: ....Will be another new section of our newsletter. Tells us of anything exciting happening for your dancer or family so we can share it with everyone! |

Featured Teacher: Sandi Duncan
Each month we will feature one of faculty members. We hope you enjoy getting to know each one a little better. In her own words-Sandi Duncan
Melissa and I have been friends since the 8th grade-yes, we are old. We met in Science class and found that our dad's had been carpooling to work together for a few years. She had heard about "Frank's daughter, the dancer" and I had heard about "Charlie's daughter, the dancer". Little did we know all those years ago, that Melissa (I always call her Missi) would work for me at my studio for 3 years in Woburn, and I would be working here at MHDC for the last 12 years. We have been through alot together and it's been a journey that I wouldn't change a bit! I love my life here at the studio. Working with a great staff and such motivated students makes coming to work each day very easy! I love seeing the growth in every student on a daily, monthly, and yearly basis. A big highlight for me is seeing alumni walk through our doors and share what is going on in their lives with us. So many keep in touch and I value the incredible friendships that have grown over the years. I am so thrilled to see the amazing friendships my daughter, Kimi, has made over the years. Her best friends are here, sharing in life's ups and downs and I can't imagine her life without these incredible people! Also watching her grow over the years, encouraged by so many of the great families here at MHDC, has been a huge blessing that we are both so thankful for! As I begin my new business, Sharing The Dance of Life, I feel fortunate that so many of you have inspired and supported me through this process. I couldn't have done it without you. I will be conducting self-esteem lectures, seminars, workshops and retreats for Pre-Teens and Teen girls, as well as Women, Dance Educators and Aspiring Performing Artists. My business also includes personal life coaching to encourage individuals to find more Balance, Gratitude, Joy and Fun in your everday Dance of Life!!!! I look forward to the years ahead here that MHDC. The new generation of dancers is upholding the level of artistry and emotion that MHDC dancers are known for. Keep it going dancers and always remember to LIVE IT!!!!
