Welcome Back!
We hope everyone had a happy, healthy, and safe summer! We are very excited about our new offerings! The first couple of weeks back are sure to be a bit hectic! But, you will quickly see that settle down. Our teachers will be watching carefully and will make any adjustments in class placement as we progress into our dance year. In this first of many information newsletters you will find much information about upcoming events and new programs. Dancin' Tots to Teens
We are very excited about our new program coming this fall! We have added many new classes to our 2010-2011 schedule! We encourage you to explore different forms of dance by taking advantage of the new class opportunities. Our fall enrollment is filling - some classes are even closed - so don't miss out on the fun! MHDC Birthday Bashes
 Are you looking for a new way to celebrate your child's special day? Melissa Hoffman Dance Center is pleased to announce the return of MHDC Birthday Bashes! Birthday Bashes include one hour of dance combinations and games as well as a half an hour for pizza and cake!
Birthday celebrations with MHDC is as easy as 1,2,3... 1. Pick your theme! We have a variety of themes to choose from, including: Birthday Princess, High School Musical, Funky Hip Hop, Broadway Baby, Hawaiian Beach Party, and many more! 2. Decide who's coming! How many friends are you planning on attending? Parties are planned for 1-10 children, although for an additional cost, more are welcome to join! 3. Set the date and send the invite! Upon reserving your birthday party at MHDC, we will provide you with the invitations needed for each of your friends to get the invite to join in on the fun! MHDC also provides the Thank You Cards as well! Celebrating birthdays with MHDC couldn't be any easier or more fun! Why settle for a traditional birthday celebration at your home, movies, or mall, when you could be having a blast movin' and groovin' the day away! Brochures and information are provided upon request in the Office! We promise to make your child's day a special day - filled with memories and fun to last a lifetime!

Studio Rentals
 Are you looking for a venue to hold a special occasion or event? Do you need ample seating and even a dance floor? Well look no further! Coming this fall MHDC will be holding weekend studio rentals to inquiring participants! With room to fit 15-20 round tables and a dance floor, MHDC makes the perfect place to hold your bridal or baby shower, anniversaries and birthdays to name a few!

New To MHDC: Parent's Night Out
Are you looking for a break from the kids and night out on the town? Do you want some alone time, but don't know where to send the kids? MHDC is pleased to announce Parent's Night Out. Each month MHDC will set a date, in which parents may send their children to the studio to be watched, while they have a night to themselves!
MHDC will host a themed night 7-10:30 PM where kids can engage in fun and crafts. With four studios available, there is ample room for games and play! As the night progresses, sleeping arrangements can be made for the children with younger bedtimes.
Already being a part of the MHDC family, parents can rest assured their children are in good hands! Each month will be a new theme, leaving plenty of surprises for the children!

MHDC Scholarship Fund
MHDC is pleased to announce our Scholarship Fund. We believe the dance education we offer goes beyond just steps, and children can truly flourish and grow as individuals from our program. Although our Scholarship Fund is just building, we hope to aid families that have been with us through the years who are going through tough families emergencies and need the extra support from their second family at MHDC. Through fundraisers and events throughout the year, MHDC will donate proceeds to our Scholarship Fund for families in need of assistance in paying for their child's dance education. Our annual Mack's Apple Bake Sale will now donate its proceeds to this Fund. Please be on the lookout for upcoming events where your contributions and support are greatly appreciated. After all, MHDC is more than a dance studio, we are a community of families who care not only about dance, but about each other!

MHDC Yard Sale
 It is a common amazement how quickly "stuff" can accumulate in ones house. Before you know it, you have books you've never opened, clothes only worn once, and furniture collecting dust in the attic. Being a home to the MHDC family, we understand and are looking to help!
Sunday October 3, 2010 from 12-4PM MHDC will be holding a yard sale. Space rental will be $25.00. The proceeds from space rental will be donated to the MHDC Scholarship Fund. All profits from your sales are yours to keep! The sale will be advertised prior, so the turn out should be great! Even if you aren't planning on selling items, come check out what we have for sale. Halloween will be just around the corner, and we'll be selling many costumes and other items. |
