Zumba Fitness!

Welcome to our new and improved newsletter! We have switched over to a new email program where we can easily send newsletters, updates, and upcoming events! This is very exciting and we look forward to utilizing this great resource!

I cannot believe, despite adding an additional month, that recital has yet again snuck up on us! This year has flown by and it is that time again for dress rehearsals, recital, and our summer dance programs! As I've walked around to the different rooms, the recital dances are looking great and I think we are going to have one of our best shows yet!

This coming fall we will be kicking off our new program "Dancin Tots To Teens". This exciting new program will offer more classes for different levelings and ages. Look for the upcoming fall schedule and all its new offerings! Also watch for our expanded Zumba fall schedule!

Dress Rehearsal: June 22nd - June 23rd

Everyone should have received a dress rehearsal schedule via email indicating their class's stage time. The dance company's dress rehearsal will be Monday June 21st. Please arrive 20 minutes prior to the class's scheduled time as so we can account for all the students and maintain a smooth running rehearsal. If for whatever reason you are running late please contact Melissa on her cell phone at 603-548-9803. Texts are preferred due to being in the auditorium. Dress rehearsal is the perfect opportunity to take pictures and videos of your children on stage - don't forget your cameras! Since you are given this opportunity we ask at recital that there be no video or photography. This is for the safety of the dancers as well - we will have a professional video available to order. Order forms can be picked up in the office and will be available at all dress rehearsals. Be watching in the next couple of weeks for updates about recital and rehearsal procedures in addition to any last minute details! Here's to a great show!

Reminder, recital is Saturday June 26th at Lowell Memorial Auditorium (many were thinking it was Sunday- yikes!) Tickets are still on sale in the office and can be bought at all dress rehearsals as well as at both shows!

Recital Picture Day Pick-Up

During all three days of dress rehearsal class pictures and individual photos will be available for purchase in the auditorium lobby.

Recital T-Shirt Pick-Up

If you ordered a recital t-shirt they can be picked up at the table in the front of the auditorium all three days of dress rehearsal!

Registration Night: June 24, 2010 (4-7 PM)

Get a head start with signing up for your fall dance classes! Come on in June 24th and receive free registration! Stop by and save yourself the registration fee while picking your fall classes early before your summer fun! Don't miss out on your favorite class - they fill up quick!

Summer Classes & Dance Camps!

Don't have summer plans? No worries! We're still enrolling in summer classes and dance camps!

We offer a variety of summer classes for all ages and levels. Our summer session runs from July 12th to August 5th. Registration ends June 24th!

Come explore all forms of dance as well as tumbling, drama, and arts and crafts! Camps are one week long and offered both July 12th-16th and August 2nd-6th. Camps are broken down into Preschool Camp (3.5 - 5 yrs) and Kindercamp (5 - 7 yrs).

Come join us for Princess Preschool Camp on July 13th and 15th and in the second session on August 3rd and 5th! With a different theme each day, its no wonder why MHDC is the place to be for summer fun!

Red Sox Raffle And 50/50 For Bella Tucker

We are currently selling raffle tickets for a Red Sox game with all proceeds going to the Bella Tucker fund-the tickets are 1 for $5 or 3 for $10 and can be purchased in the office. The game is July 18^th at 1:35 against the Texas Rangers. We will sell them through the recital week.

In addition MHDC will be holding their own 50/50 raffle for Bella Tucker. The tickets are 1 for $1 or an arms length for $5!Look for the raffle table at all dress rehearsals and both recital shows! Winners to be announced!!

I'm so proud of the studio and all it has accomplished this year with fund raising, community support, as well as our competitive teams! This year 13 dancers (many of whom have been dancing here the past 15 years) will be graduating and moving into the next chapter of their lives! I am proud to say that many will be going into some of the most prestigious schools and universities around the country! At MHDC it is about more than just dance. We believe in fostering children to flourish in whatever they pursue in life. As always I look forward to seeing the progress each student's made this year as they showcase their talents on stage! Here's to "Dancin In The Streets" as we take you down famous roads and streets all across the country!!
