| We're Connected, Are You? Bucks IU and Social Media |
You may have noticed some new additions to the Bucks IU website. In the top left hand corner you'll see a group of icons known as a social media bar. The social media bar is a great way to promote IU services and events. To utilize these icons, first make sure you are logged into your personal social media page (ex. Facebook, Twitter). While on the Bucks IU webpage you want to share, simply click on the corresponding social media icon to post the information (ex. "f" icon is Facebook). This button will take you to your social media page to post. It's as easy as that. The website also boasts a new "Twitter Feed" section. Follow us on twitter @BucksIU22

BCIU Opening Day Event

The Annual "Opening Day" for Bucks County Intermediate Unit #22 (BCIU) staff members will be held this year on Monday, August 27, 2012. All BCIU staff members are expected to attend our Opening Day Program, except those that are per diem, day-to-day substitute teachers or staff scheduled to work with students that day.
If you are a Per Diem/Day to Day Substitute, you will not attend Opening Day on Monday, August 27th. Instead, all per diem and day-to-day substitutes will have a separate Opening Day scheduled for Wednesday, August 29th at 8:00 AM at the BCIU Office Center in Doylestown. You will receive additional information directly from Lisa Litzenberger, Substitute Coordinator, specifically for Per Diem/Day to Day Substitutes.
Once again this year, to best meet the needs of staff and decrease travel times, you will be reporting to one of six satellite locations throughout the county.
We are excited to provide a live video stream of our BCIU Executive Director, Dr. Barry Galasso, to all of the satellite locations. Registration and refreshments will begin at 7:30 AM at your designated location. The program will begin promptly at 8:30 AM. Your staff meetings will occur following the general session at approximately 10:00 AM. For more information click here.
