Want to Prevent Fraud in Your District?

 fraud
A recent story out of North County, California explained a situation in which parents were horrified to learn that more than $56,000 was missing from the parent council account. These monies had been earmarked for whiteboards, classroom supplies, caretaking costs for special events and field trips for students at the school. Pehaps if this school had a fraud reporting system in place these missing funds would have been reported earlier or noticed before an audit had taken place.

PublicSchoolWORKS now offers a Fraud Reporting System to assist
districts in being proactive by making employees aware of the fraudulent behavior red flags and encouraging them to report tips and situations anonymously. The Fraud Reporting System is a management system within the PublicSchoolWORKS' EmployeeSafe Suite.  The system includes 24/7 online anonymous reporting and allows employees to report fraudulent behavior, accounting inconsistencies, ethical lapses and other concerns to districts. Each report is tracked from submission through investigation.
