 Greetings! TopofPage

Welcome to the first issue of Building Knowledge for 2011, you will find that the Institute has begun implementing several new strategies this year to bring more value to its members and to promote the Institute as an industry leader in educating, equipping, and empowering construction professionals to perform at the highest level of proficiency.

Some of the new strategies include the upgrade of our website, resources, and more programs offered both in the traditional classroom and on-line that will include certification courses, informative seminars, and re-certification credits (RCs or CEUs) for industry professionals.

InspectionWorld Atlanta

The institute participated as an exhibitor during the American Society of Home Inspectors' (ASHI) annual conference, InspectionWorld, held in Atlanta during January.  ASHI has over 6,000 members and is the largest professional association for home inspectors in North America.

During the conference the Institute gave away $100 during two drawings. We want to congratulates our winners: Lem McSpadden of A+ Inspection Services and Bob Sterner of HomePro Inspections.

This was a great opportunity for the Institute to get recognized by these professionals for educational opportunities regarding Defective Drywall and our new building envelope courses.
