      Have you missed a few smiley, helpful faces around here lately? Ward, Bud, Heidi and Holly have been attending vendor shows to look for the latest and greatest items to bring to Schemper's Ace Hardware; they're shopping for you!  Christmas items are rolling in, the decor' department is changing for the holiday season, and the garden department is receiving winter plants, so your garden will look full and beautiful.  Shelves are being revamped to  fit all  the new merchandise. 

      July was when Holly attended the Home Decor' show in Vegas looking for the latest trends and colors.  New items are arriving daily making it easy for you to find the perfect gift or unique item for updating your home decor'. The fall items are on the shelves already. Don't be frightened when you see the reds and greens appear; ready or not Christmas is coming! Shop early so that you are the sure to find the perfect unique gift or decoration.

        Ward and Bud attended the big ACE trade convention a few weeks ago where the focus was on lawn and garden.  They shop now for spring to make sure we have everything you need, when you need it.  Outdoor living furniture and accessories have been ordered in the newest styles and colors and you will be amazed at how quickly it will be time to shop for spring. 

      Heidi is currently at the L&L Nursery Show looking at garden decor items. She is keeping an eye out for new and exciting items that she just knows her customers will love to have in their garden.

      All the new merchandise means changes to our aisles.  Aisles that have been recently changed and you might like to check out:

•  If you've got an old garden hose that is worn out and leaking, you can punch more holes in it with an ice pick and create your own soaker hose.
• Another use would be to cut off pieces of old hose to cover chains on swings or the handles of heavy paint cans for a more comfortable grip.
