With warmer weather and busy schedules it is a perfect time to get outdoors and enjoy the pleasant spring season. It is also the time for great outdoor get togethers including graduation parties, family celebrations and barbecues. Spring is here and its time to get your patio or deck ready for you to enjoy the warm weather. After this rainy and windy winter, now is a great time to clean your patio or deck so that you can get out there and enjoy yourself. Whether you're barbecuing or just relaxing, having a great looking clean surface to do it on makes it even more enjoyable.
At Schemper's Ace Hardware we have all the tools and products you need to make sure you spend less time cleaning and more time enjoying yourself outdoors. Products like patio wash and scrub brushes will make cleaning a breeze. And if you have a large patio to clean, we also carry several pressure washer options including a heavy duty pressure washer for rent to make cleaning even more convenient.
If you have a wood deck, we have you covered too. Schemper's Ace Hardware carries a great selection of deck stains and all of the applicators and supplies needed to complete your project. Don't have a patio? Well, we have tons of cement and all the tools and supplies needed to make your own.
Spring is a great time to prepare your patio so you can spend more time outside and maybe even enjoy a new barbecue or new patio set, also available a Schemper's Ace Hardware.

Did you know that we carry two different types of carpet cleaners? At Schemper's Ace Hardware we carry the Rug Doctor brand including two different sizes, wide track and regular track. We also offer the Host Brand carpet cleaner. Both of these cleaners are available to rent out for 24 hour time periods. There is a $10.00 cleaning deposit that you will get back after the cleaner is returned.
Rug Doctor and Host Carpet Cleaner both have their own supply of cleaning products for the machines, but you can also use Ace brand cleaning products to use in the Rug Doctor machine. For the Host carpet cleaner you have to use the product that they supply. We have offered the Rug Doctor for years and decided a few years ago to add the Host Carpet Cleaner to give our customers a choice on what machine they would like to use.
From what we have learned from customers and their reviews the Host Dry cleaner "does not remain wet after cleaning it;" also, "it is less expensive than the rug doctor". Customers have said, "They like to see they dirt coming up from the carpet and into the Rug Doctor machine." We care about your comments and reviews because we want to make sure that our customers are getting the satisfaction that they are looking for. Come in and pick your machine to wash those dirty carpets and freshen up your entire home.

Are you tired of having bugs, wasps, flies and mosquitoes around you constantly at night when you're sitting outside with friends and family? We have several products for you to choose from to help prevent the bothersome pests from ruining great evenings out in your yard. At Schemper's Ace Hardware we carry many products for flies, including "Flies-Be-Gone." Our nursery manager, Heidi, highly recommends this product and even has a picture from her backyard of all the flies that she has caught with "Flies-Be-Gone." She does not live on a dairy or in the country, but in town with a constant fly issue. You don't have to have a dairy or orchard to have dozens of flies; purchase "Flies-Be-Gone" and watch them disappear.
For those nasty wasps and hornets that keep flying around your plants we carry wasp and hornet spray, as well as yellow jacket traps to keep them away. We also carry citronella candles and Tiki oil candles to keep those blood-sucking mosquitoes away. Watch out they're suppose to be really bad this season!  Always keep a bottle of "OFF" on hand to guard yourself from the pesky mosquitoes. We carry a wide selection of "OFF," including several other types of mosquito repellents.
