Social Media Guide for Small Voluntary Sector Organisations - FREE RESOURCE
The focus of the guide is on your organisation and how social media can help you to achieve your goals. It will help you to assess whether or not social media is going to be useful for your organisation, and if so, how to go about developing and implementing a social media strategy that will make a difference.
The guide is purposefully short and straight forward so that you don't need to trawl through tons of information only to get overwhelmed and frustrated. It is a step by step guide which is understandable, easy to use and specific to voluntary groups.

Good Young Citizen Award - Herefordshire
Hereford Central Local Policing Team are looking for nominations for the Young Good Citizen Awards 2011. We need your help to find young people aged 18 or under, who have demonstrated their commitment to helping others and making the difference in the community either:
- individually
- through an individual contribution to a group activity
- through actively supporting a group activity
They may have helped family, or friends or other members of a wider community as a result of their own initiative or an organised activity. We are happy to accept nominations of small groups (maximum three people).
If you know of anybody under the age of 18 who has helped make a difference, please forward their contact details to CSO Emily Cooke via emily.cooke@westmercia.pnn.police.uk |
ImpACT Coalition
Improving accountability, clarity and transparency (ImpACT) in the third sector.
Member-organisations get access to a whole range of resources - like the ImpACT Toolkit - helping them to assess their own practices, spread third-sector innovation, and give people a fuller sense of what charities do.
There's no charge for membership - and it's a really good way for voluntary organisations to improve their public image.
More information can be found on the ImpACT website or by contacting ImpACT head Liam Cranley: liam.cranley@acevo.org.uk
The ImpACT Coalition is a network of charities, social enterprises, and community organisations committed to openness, transparency and accountability. |
