News from the Home Builders Foundation  

 

Welcome to the latest news on Foundation projects and the people who make it happen, as well as news about exciting and upcoming events that support the Foundation's mission.

Every day we get more requests for assistance from folks throughout Denver who need home modifications to make their house accessible. Projects range from ramps to flooring to bathroom remodels and more! Since November 2010, the Foundation has completed 17 projects with another 8 currently in progress. What's even more astonishing is that we currently have an additional 18 projects pending approval. That's where you come in!

 

If you would like to volunteer to assist with a project we could use your help. You can provide labor, materials, or constuction oversight. You can also contribute with a sponsorship, recruit volunteers or even help by bringing food to the volunteers at project sites. Whatever your skill set may be, we could use your help. The HBF and the people we serve need more people who would like to help and make a difference.

Let's Tee it Up for the 10th Annual  

"Clubs for a Cause" golf tournament  

September 22 at Inverness Golf Club

 

Join us for some laughs and lots of good times to benefit the Home Builders Foundation.  

 

Presented by Boise Cascade this 18-hole tournament takes place at the stunning Inverness Golf Club, with box lunch, buffet dinner, and evening cigar and wine tasting.

PROVIDING VALUE  

 

Did you know that for every $1 donated to HBF, $10 of value is created in the projects we provide.  

   

That means that for every $5 donated towards a project, the HBF can install a widened doorway ($50 value). A $100 will cover the costs of building and installing a typical ramp and a $250 donation will cover a bathroom remodel.

The Denver area has hundreds of folks who, through no fault of their own, have some form of disability.
