Feat ured Article
The HBF's annual Grapes and Galleries was held June 29th in Cherry Creek North. It was great fun for everyone who supports the mission of HBF. "The success of our annual Grapes and Galleries plays an integral part in funding HBF projects. Thanks to the abundance of support this year, many more people in the Denver area will be able to live independently in their homes," said Vicki Laverde, an HBF board member and Grapes and Galleries committee member. The event attracted more than 300 individuals and couples who strolled Cherry Creek's art galleries and tasted wine samples along the way, as well as sumptuous food offerings from some of Denver's finest restaurants. More than $40,000 was raised for HBF. HBF offers a great BIG thank you to HBF VP and Committee Chair Paige Lentz and committee members Vicki Laverde, Hamid Taha, Doug Nedved, Lisa Phillips, Mickey Mohs, Kurt Winfield, Jay Peterson, Kristin Peterson, Chris Hammond, Kate Cihon, Whitney Arreche, Ed Peats, and Lori Gorzynski. PROVIDING VALUE
Did you know that for every $1 donated to HBF, $8 of value is created in the projects we provide.
For every $5 donated, HBF can install a widened doorway ($40 value). A donation of $250 will cover costs of building a typical ramp.
Consider a donation to the Foundation today and help us help those who need this assistance.
