Dear ,

Inspire's 5th Annual
 "Make a Difference"
 Dinner and Auction
flame   auction tables
The dinner and auction was an amazing evening again this year! The auction items were fantastic and the decor was gorgeous. But of course the best part was the youth giving their testimonies! Both Jeremiah and Silenna did a great job and the audience was very moved by their stories and goals for the future. If you missed it this year make sure you attend next year's event! For those of you that came..we truly thank you for coming out to support our youth. We raised $23,000 and while that is short of our goal, we know the evening was a success because we saw supporters and youth getting interacting and many more people interested in helping in some way.

A very special Thank You to everyone who made our delicious Thanksgiving meal this year- Sylvia Fleming, Cyndi Monroe, Jerry and JoAnn Emge, Dan and Cyn Leveque, Becky White, Michelle Estes, Krista Schuring, Cynthia Delgadillo, Gary and Karin McGee and Jamie DeSilvia.
The festivities were made extra fun by Operation Sweet Dreams showing up with all new Pj's, robes and books for the youth (see pic above). The youth and mentors had a relaxing evening eating and chatting together. The youth also got up and shared what they were thankful for and many of us teared up.
I am personally thankful for my family, for getting to run such an amazing organization, and my many dedicated volunteers without which Inspire would not exist!

Kristi is off to the Oprah Winfrey Show????
Yes! Thank you to Laura Janik, a dedicated member or Soroptimist International of Corona, who wrote into the Oprah show telling them about Inspire. Just yesterday the show called and said her submission was chosen and would we come to Chicago this coming Tuesday to film a show about local heroes!!! We will be sitting in the audience amongst other chosen heroes. I am so excited to meet other movers and shakers, see Chicago for my first time and of course attend the show. I will keep you all posted on our adventure.
