Learning is FUN at Levine Academy

Reading and Writing About History

Mrs. Sheinberg's 1st grade reading class delivered their biographical book reports to parents and students this week. The biography book reports were to culminate their reading class study of biographies. They learned about putting someone's life in a timeline. They chose their own person to read and write about, and delivered their book report in historical costume. They also answered questions form the audience as though they were the actual person.  The students were so articulate and knowledgeable.  All of them did a wonderful job!

Below are the students' names and their book report subject:

Noah Kashar-Abe Lincoln

Brendan Bernstein-Tom Brady

Sammy Larkin-Babe Ruth

Jacob Grossfeld-Thomas Edison

Jeremy Minsky-Neil Armstrong

Abbie Khalameizer-Carly Patterson

Ava Stern-Pocahontas

Aiden Mintskovsky-Albert Einstein
