Rendezvous
I love being near water, whether it is the sound of waves crashing on a shoreline or rain falling from the sky and hitting our sky lights. I love watching the ripples of a stream and seeing the expanse of open seas as a moment of freedom and connection. I am mesmerized by the way water moves and sounds. For me, living in Dallas means for the first time living without access to a large body of water. I'm talking a big body of water, like Lake Michigan or the Pacific Ocean. For me, there's nothing like the water's edge.

Parents! We need you!!
Six Third and Fourth Grade Parents are needed to help with the Matzah Bakery on April 3 between 10:30-12:15. We need help bringing the matzah from the gym to the kitchen, baking and delivering to classrooms.
Parents and middle school students are needed to help with our Bedouin Tent Pita Making at the JCC Yom HaAtzmaut Celebration between 4:30 and 8:00. Shifts are 4:30-6:00 and 6:00-8:00.

The 8th grade Israel trip is just a few weeks away. It has been our tradition to send the students with plenty of tzedakah they can hand out to various institutions/groups while on the trip. Please be sure to send tzedakah every Friday between now and March 9 so that our students can participate in this special mitzvah as your shaliach (agent) of tzedakah!

Congratulations to the participants of this year's Middle School Speech Contest. All of the speeches were thoughtful, well-written, and well presented. The judges admitted that the choices were extremely difficult to make! In the end, the winners were:
