On behalf of Crescent Foods, I'm writing to express our support of the remarkable efforts of the Muslim Women's Alliance (MWA). As we close this spiritually reviving month of Ramadan, we are all seeking ways to continue our service, be role model individuals and seek the pleasure of Allah. MWA provides a platform for women from all walks of life, all ages and races to come together and work for worthy causes with purpose. Their involvement with Homeless Shelters, Refugee Families and affiliate organizations are a testament to their passion for serving humanity. As women, we look for ways to teach our daughters and inspire them with direction and personal development; MWA serves this purpose well with numerous events throughout the year.

One such inspiring event every year is the Annual Celebration's awarding of Inspirational women in our community, it's always a favorite of mine, where we have the opportunity to honor women who are being recognized for making a difference and engaging others with their skills. This is a truly innovative way to recognize success.

As we at Crescent Foods have been proud to sponsor past MWA initiatives, I urge you to sustain and support their growth. In this media and political climate we live in, we are in dire need of such organizations to promote the positive aspects of Islam and the commendable activities of Muslim women. Without funding, these programs cannot exist.
