Mark your calendar, Ramadan Rush for Rewards 2012 is only weeks away. MWA is ready to welcome Ramadan with our annual Ramadan Rush for Rewards hands-on service campaign. The inspiration behind this program is that as we increase our worship, we increase our good deeds to maximize the benefits of Ramadan.
As we enter the fourth year of this initiative, MWA continues to strive towards serving the community we live in. This year we have added multiple locations to our events, so that we can accommodate the growing number of participants for the Ramadan Rush for Rewards program. These locations are spread across the Chicagoland area to make it convenient and easy for you to volunteer.
We invite you and your family to participate in Ramadan Rush for Rewards 2012 by volunteering and donating to the community service projects listed below. Your generous donations and volunteer efforts will help us fulfill our Islamic obligation of caring for our neighbors.

EVENT 1: Welcome Ramadan Food Baskets for the Needy Families
We begin our count down to the days of Ramadan with the need to provide for those families who are lacking the basic provisions for the blessed month. A donation of $200 will provide a family with sustenance that will last through out the month of Ramadan. Each basket will have 35 essential items including dates, rice, flour and fresh produce. We encourage you to donate now rather than wait so that we can supply the needy families with the staples before Ramadan begins.

We will be collecting donations until July 4th, 2012.
