Pronatura Noreste y el Consulado General de los Estados Unidos en Monterrey estamos muy agradecidos por la participación y apoyo en la carrera inaugural del 10K EUA - México. Gracias a todos los patrocinadores, participantes y voluntarios que hicieron del evento de este año algo tan especial. No pudimos haberlo hecho sin ustedes. También queremos reconocer que falta mucho por hacer. Aun y cuando nos fue posible incorporar muchos proyectos innovadores y verdes dentro del evento de este año, no nos fue posible hacer la carrera completamente ecológica. En los años por venir, esperamos hacer cada evento más y más ecológico, al mismo tiempo que expandimos nuestra participación y creamos conciencia sobre la responsabilidad de cada persona en proteger nuestros preciosos recursos.
Esperamos poder hacer este recorrido juntos en los años venideros. A corto plazo, esperamos poder proveer detalles sobre el esfuerzo de reforestación. También esperamos poder contar con su retroalimentación en nuestra página de Facebook, también pueden mandarnos un mensaje a través del correo greenrace2009@gmail.com. Ya sea mejorando nuestra logística, ayudándonos a encontrar maneras para hacer que nuestros patrocinadores y colaboradores busquen un enfoque más ecológico, o cualquier cosa que crean que debamos escuchar, por favor háganoslo saber. Nosotros no podemos mejorar si ustedes no nos indican nuestros errores y fallas. Claro, también si creen que hicimos algo bien, háganoslo saber. Eso nos hace construir apoyo para la carrera e incrementa nuestro conocimiento acerca de las cosas que les gustan de manera que nosotros podamos seguir haciéndolas en el futuro.

Pronatura Noreste and the U.S. Consulate General of Monterrey are extremely appreciative of everyone's participation and support for the Inaugural EUA-Mexico 10K. Thank you to all of our sponsors, participants and volunteers that made this year's event so special. We could not have done it without you. We also recognize that there is still much to be done. While we were able to incorporate many innovative projects and green components into this year's event, we were unable to make it completely green. In the years ahead, we hope to make each event greener, while expanding participation and always striving to raise awareness about everyone's responsibilities in protecting our precious resources.
We look forward to making this journey together in the years ahead. In the near term, we look forward to providing details about the upcoming tree planting effort. We also welcome your feedback about how we can make next year's race better. While you are welcome to post feedback on our Facebook site, you can also send us messages through greenrace2009@gmail.com. Whether improving logistics, helping us find ways to encourage our partners and sponsors to be increasingly green, or anything else that you think we should hear about, please let us know. We cannot make an improvement if we do not know about the error or mistake. Of course, if we did something well, please let us know. That helps us build support for the race, and it increases our awareness about things you liked so that we can be sure to continue them in the future. |
