LifeSTEPS Hosts a Back to School Celebration
at Creekside Apartments Clubhouse

August 13, 2010, Cathedral City, CA  ̶   Life Skills Training and Educational Programs, Inc. (LifeSTEPS) is hosting a Back to School Celebration for the families living at the Creekside Apartments in Cathedral City on Saturday August 14, 2010 from 10:00AM to 12:00PM.   With the help of volunteers from the Heritage Park at Cathedral City Apartment seniors, residents will enjoy refreshments, games, prizes, and craft activities.  Additionally, families will have an opportunity to enroll their children in the LifeSTEPS on-site after school program.  Give aways will include home, bike and child safety information which has been generously provided by the local police and fire departments.  A backpack and back to school supply distribution will be part of the festivities.
 
Creekside Apartments and Heritage Park at Cathedral City are affordable housing complexes located in Cathedral City.  LifeSTEPS provides social and supportive services to residents with a focus on addressing the needs of the individuals as well as the community in which they live.  Our services can make a lifelong difference to at-risk youth, help seniors maintain independence with dignity, and give parents the skills they need to support their families.
 
The Back to School event at Creekside Apartments is just one example of the community building activities hosted by LifeSTEPS throughout the state.
