Sales Center
The ActiveOffice software suite is designed to help businesses increase efficiencies and accountability. A key component for businesses looking to manage the sales process is the ActiveOffice Sales Center. The tool allows sales opportunities to be entered, tracked, sorted and reported. Each opportunity is stored with sales notes, customer contact information and status.
Key features include:
A Contact Manager stores all contact information and automatically enters it into a client management tool.
A Watch feature allows sales managers to be sent an email alert whenever notes or follow-up actions are entered.
A Sales Reminder allows sales staff to enter a date to receive a "tickler", or reminder, via email to follow up with a customer.
An Activity/Notes section tracks various actions and follow-ups.
A Document Bin stores digital files associated with the customer or sales process.
The Sales Center can also be integrated into existing websites. Instead of an email link, the ActiveOffice tools create forms where the information sent through a company website is automatically entered into the Sales Center. This means greater accountability and a rapid response.
Pricing for the Sales Center module is not based on the number of users or number of leads. The more sales staff the better, the more opportunities the better.

Ignite Lansing 4.0 Comes February 11
The popular event featuring rapid-fire presentations from the who's who of mid-Michigan will have its fourth event February 11th, 2011 in the Lansing Capital Region International Airport.  The event is a collection of five minute presentations designed to enlighten, educate and entertain.
The Ignite concept, originating in Seattle, has spread worldwide. The upcoming version will be one of hundreds of events as part of the 2011 Global Ignite Week. Digital Active is once again a proud sponsor of IgniteLansing, and we encourage those who might miss out on tickets to watch online or check out presentations on YouTube after the event. Hillsdale Community Health Center Launches Website and "The Loop"
 The Hillsdale Community Health Center (HCHC) has launched a new website and a new organizational intranet. The website, hchc.com, providing information for patients and prospective employees, is managed by the ActiveCMS content management system. As the hospital continues to grow, managing information among the HCHC staff has become critical to their success.
The intranet, affectionately named "The Loop", includes:
- Discussion Forums, offering a "General" forum for all users, and additional forums only accessible based on the user's department
- File Share, a central location for documents for each department
- Hospital Calendar, featuring an auto-email reminder and a document bin for files related to the meeting or event
- News and Events, with the ability to post PDF files
- Job Postings, with the ability to post job offerings internally, to the public site, or both; a "Date Range" tool automatically posts and removes the listing on the dates entered
- Human Resources, with H.R. forms, information on classes for staff and links to insurance providers
- ActiveCMS, content management system for managing the public website

The new website has seen an increase both in total traffic, and in the user locations. This is great news as HCHC continues to increase their "reach" in terms patients and prospective staff.

The Watergate Gets Active!
The Watergate West, part of the famous Watergate complex in Washington, D.C., is the latest property management group to use ActiveOffice tools. Digital Active developed its new website, watergatewest.com, and login areas for residents, board members and property management staff.
The site features the ActiveCMS content management system, allowing Watergate West staff to easily update the website. With a secure login area, residents can submit and track maintenance requests, view news and see events. Board members can participate in discussion forums reserved just for members. The public website and the residents' area have received great accolades. Communication between residents, board members and managers is now centralized and manageable.
