Digital Active Online Joins Greater Lansing Chamber of Commerce
Digital Active Online is now a proud member of the Greater Lansing Chamber of Commerce. The East Lansing Technology Innovation Center (TIC) has partnered with the Chamber to offer its entrepreneurs membership in the Chamber under the TIC umbrella. The Chamber has always been a tremendous value to the business community and we are delighted to be a member. We look forward to a long relationship and the next member mixer.

Illinois Provider Directory Launch
 The Illinois Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics announced the launch of their new Illinois Provider Directory (IPD) website in July. The site, illinoisproviderdirectory.com, assists families and pediatricians in identifying providers who serve children and young adults with special health care needs. The listings on the website offer search functions to locate physicians based on the services provided and areas of expertise. With the integration of a Google API, parents can find medical care based on location as well. Digital Active Online developed the site using ActiveCMS tools, allowing the IPD staff to update website content and manage the database of providers. The site also allows pediatricians to submit their information to be listed. Newly submitted information is stored as "pending" until IPD staff approves the listing.

ActiveApp of the Month: Expense Reporting Tools
With offices in over 20 markets in the United States, Adams Outdoor Advertising depends on the collaboration and efficiencies of their corporate intranet. Developed by Digital Active Online, the intranet connects the offices of the third largest outdoor advertising company in the country. A key tool in the system is the ActiveApp Expense Reporting Tool. The tool allows each market's Controllers to administer the reimbursement of funds to Adams' employees. Expense reports are submitted, approved and tracked by the market Controllers, with oversight by Corporate Managers. The secure-access system replaces a process of emailing Excel sheets and placing numerous phone calls to track the status of reimbursements.
