ActiveApp Spotlight: Regional Sales Tool
With sales offices in 18 markets in the eastern United States, Adams Outdoor Advertising required a collaborative tool to assist Regional Account Executives (RAEs) with coordinating national sales accounts. Digital Active responded by creating the Regional Sales Tool.
As a central point of information, the Regional Sales Tool tracks potential clients, current clients, advertising agencies, RFP's, sales projections and budgets. By selecting variables, including RAE, market and date range in the application's menus, reports can be generated and exported as Excel files. Within the Regional Sales Tool is a discussion forum allowing the RAE's and Sales Managers to share information on national clients and industry trends. The tool has replaced both overnight shipping and emailing of Excel sheet, while providing instant snapshots of the national sales process.

IgniteLansing 2.0
The popular IgniteLansing is returning with IgniteLansing 2.0. The original event, held past April, was a sell-out success with 240 people from mid-Michigan converging at the East Lansing Technology Innovation Center. The upcoming event will be highlighted with presentations on a variety of subjects and given in a rapid-fire format, as each presenter is limited to 5 minutes and 20-slides. Following the first event's tremendous success, IgniteLansing 2.0 promises to be "bigger, better, greener, and most importantly, more FUN!" Tickets are free and available to the public. The Big Ten Network (BTN) has launched a new Customer Service Application system developed by Digital Active. With the Big Ten football season only a week away, the BTN is ready to address any questions or comments the fans may have. The new system provides auto-alerts allowing for quick response times, while tracking the interaction between fans and staff. The Chicago-based network chose Digital Active over several leading industry solutions.
