The government has committed to decreasing the red tape
burden on business, but requires clear input from the business community in
order to translate this commitment into noticeable changes. Right now the
majority of businesses across the province continue to be negatively impacted
by obstructive government regulations.

Demonstrating
the Business Value of Toxics Use Reduction and
Pollution Prevention Planning
OCETA is pleased
to announce a new partnership with Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters
(CME) to deliver a Cleaner and Greener
Manufacturing Program. As part of Ontario's Toxics Reduction Strategy, the
Ontario Ministry of the Environment is providing funding support to OCETA
and CME to develop and deliver training and assistance programs on toxics
reduction.
A major objective
of the program is to demonstrate the business value of toxics reduction and
pollution prevention planning, and encourage businesses across Ontario to achieve
toxics reduction.
