Tips for Managers
A cost-effective way to get your brand out in the business
community and connect with clients, customers and even suppliers, is to
sponsor a table at an event. Then take it another step. Jennifer Chapman
of PROFIT magazine shared this idea: When you are
hosting a lunch or dinner table at a corporate function, make it easy for
your guests by assigning the seating. Get there early and while the wait
staff is completing the final set up, put place cards on your table. When
the doors open and your guests make their way to your table, with or
without you (as often happens) they will be made to feel welcome, and you
will have pre-planned who sits next to whom for the best outcome.
