| The Chevy Cruze wins Canadian Car of the Year | | |
We are extremely pleased to announce that the Chevrolet Cruze has just won AJAC's 2011 Canadian Car of the Year! Announced at the Canadian International Autoshow in Toronto, the Cruze (winner of Best New Small Car over $21,000 category) beat out stiff competition from the 2011 Ford Fiesta and 2011 Volkswagen Jetta to take the coveted prize. The award followed rigorous head-to-head evaluations performed by over 70 of Canada's leading automotive journalists on 144 new vehicles entered in this year's competition.
GM Canada president and managing director Kevin Williams said the win reflects "a major refocusing of investment on smaller vehicles and fuel efficient technologies."

 Cardholders in good standing as of January 1, 2011 will have until December 31, 2017 to redeem their Earnings! Earnings are no longer subject to monthly expiration.
GM Card Website - TheGmCard.ca - has been redesigned to reflect The GM Card Program changes and provides a new tool:
"My Earnings" which allows Cardholders to check their Earnings balance online. GM Cardholders can continue to accumulate Earnings until April 29, 2011, or until they receive and activate their replacement card or cancel their existing GM Card, whichever comes first.
