 It's best to have your tires checked or replaced before winter begins.
Remember to check tire air pressure frequently, as it decreases in cold weather.
The condition of your vehicle's tires is important. For safety reasons, drivers are urged to check the manufacturer's wear indicator mark on your tires to see if they need replacing.
All tires have tread wear indicators, which are small bars of rubber found between the tread blocks of a tire. When the tread is worn flush with the tread wear indicators, the tire has reached its wear limit and must be replaced as it no longer provides sufficient traction in the rain or snow.
Did you know? Winter tires that are in good condition can shorten braking distances by as much as 25%.

More Winter Driving Tips:
1) Be prepared. Get your vehicle winter-ready with a maintenance check-up. Don't wait for winter to have your battery, belts, hoses, radiator, oil, lights, brakes, tires, exhaust system, heater/defroster, wipers, and ignition system checked.
2) Keep your fuel tank sufficiently full - at least half a tank is recommended.
3) Make sure you have sufficient windshield washer fluid in the reservoir that is rated a minimum of -40°C temperature range. Right now we have kits ready for you to keep in your vehicle - a large 3.7L jug of washer fluid bundled with a handy ice scraper for just $5.95!

We will be open for business again on Monday Dec 28th.
On Dec 31st we will close at noon, and remain closed New Year's Day, Jan 1st, 2010.

IN THE COMMUNITY: We're again helping Grimsby Benevolent Fund collect for their 44th Annual Christmas Hamper Drive. We encourage everyone to help make the holidays a celebration for all families by bringing in a non-perishable food item, or unwrapped toy/gift. The boxes will be collected for sorting on December 16th.
Wills Chevrolet had fun driving local dignitaries in 2 area Santa Claus Parades, in Smithville Nov 28th and again in Grimsby Dec 5th. It was our pleasure to provide the hot chocolate to keep the crowds warm, and we're glad everyone enjoyed our 'BumbleBee' Camaro! Thanks for a great time!
