Nutcracker Fun Facts Series #2  -   November 27, 2010

Much of the enchantment of The Nutcracker Ballet comes from the many characters who appear on stage during the performance.

The diversity of the cast allows dancers (and some non-dancers) of all ages the opportunity to participate in the ballet. The following is the list of Nutcracker characters and our cast member who will be performing the role.

Act III takes place in the Land of Sweets.  Each of the divertisments represent delicious edible treats.

This year there are 9 Tricia Sloan Dance Center teachers performing in the Nutcracker. In addition, there are 8 very talented professionals that are coming here from NYC and Philadelphia to perform in our Nutcracker.  All of them sharing their talents and experience with 78 of our dedicated students.
