Dance Company Showcase - May 31st
at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman
The Tricia Sloan Dance Company will present their annual showcase performance at the historic Broadway Theatre in Pitman on Sunday May 31st at 6 PM. Tickerts are only $10 each and everyone is invited to attend the performance.
The members of the TSDC Dance Company have been working hard all year perfecting exciting dance numbers and several solos, duos and trios for family and friends to enjoy.
The Senior dancers have had the good fortune to learn a new production number from a professional dancer, Colby Lindeman. Colby has been working with the dancers in between his own performances in NYC which includes the Radio City Christmas Spectacular in various cities across the USA.
We always urge our TSDC parents to bring their young dancers to this splendid showcase. Many of our young dancers have been greatly inspired by watching our TSDC Dance Company members perform.

Introducing... Sammy Reyes
For the past nine months our jazz funk classes have had the great fortune to be taught by our newest faculty member, Samuel Reyes.
Sammy has served as a prominent choreographer and dance teacher based in the Philadelphia area for over the past ten years. He is a graduate of the University of the Arts where he was the recepient of the Cushman Acting Award and the Theater Ensemble Award. Sammy went on to study dance with Ronen Koresh (Koresh Dance Co.), Rennie Harris (RennieHarrisPuremovement) and Kip Martin.
Sammy has performed with many local Philadelphia artists. He performed at the Prince Music Theatre in "St. Louie Women" and "Pal Joey" where he assisted Myra Bazell as dance captain and assistant choreographer. For this he was nominated for a Barrymore Award for best choreography in a musical. He was also nominated for a Barrymore Award for his work on "Bombity of Errors" with Eleventh Hour Theatre Co.
Sam choreographed a national commercial for Forman Mills Co. He recently completed touring the USA with television and radio artist Raven-Symone (Cheeta Girl, Cosby Show, "Olivia", That's So Raven).

"New" Parking Regulations |
|
The Council for the Boro of Wenonah has passed new parking regulations which directly effect our dance center.
1. There is now a passenger loading & unloading zone on North West Ave. Mon-Fri. 6-9PM. These means NO parking in this area during the posted days & times.
This will make it easier & much safer for parents to drop-off & pick-up their dancers from TSDC.
2. There is also parking by permit only along North West Ave. in front of the residences on their side of the street.
We have made the head of the council aware of our need for more parking along North West Ave and several solutions are under consideration. |
