| Laser Death Roll Regatta |
Congratulations to our own Peter Webster for sailing a great regatta on Saturday. Peter won handily, throwing out a third place to end up with only 6 points. 22 Central New York sailors came to Cazenovia Lake and WBYC for the annual regatta and most left happy having spent a great day on the water.

| TIME TO GET READY FOR WINTER |
If you will store your boat at WBYC this winter, please complete the Winter Storage Form and leave it on the clipboard on the shop door at the club. Due to the limited storage space, preference is given to those that have stored their boats in the past. If you will not be storing your boat at the club, please remove it from the club prior to the start of the work parties or clearly mark it "DO NOT STORE". Any boats (this includes Kayaks & Canoes) not marked may be stored starting on Sunday, September 26.
Please note that owners are responsible for prepping their boats for the winter and storage of masts, sails, etc. The club is not responsible for any damage or lost items. Do not plan to prep your boat and put it away during your work party - do it on your own time - Work Parties are for getting the club ready for the winter! Inflatable tubes and all beach chairs must be removed from WBYC property prior to the start of the fall work parties. |
| WORK PARTIES |
It is that time of the year again and we need everyone's help to get the Club ready for winter. Saturday morning work parties will begin at 9:30 a.m. and end at 12:30 p.m. The afternoon work parties will begin at 1:00 p.m. and end at 4:00 p.m. Sunday work parties will run from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Click here to see the schedule. Please try to attend on the date you are assigned, but if you can't email KC Hill to reschedule. Please check the weather on the day of your work party before you head to the Club. Wear old clothes and enough of them so you'll be comfortable as you work. Please remember that it is cooler at the lake than in town. Gloves and boots or old sneakers are a must.
The Board of Directors has been working on standardizing how Work Party Credits are earned and has approved a comprehensive policy to help with streamlining this process. Please read the new WORK PARTY CREDIT POLICY. |
