RENOVATE & CAZENOVIA LAKE |
The Renovate treatment was completed on June 10 in the afternoon so the passing of the milfoil should begin. In 4-5 days you should see some withering and and in 2-3 weeks it should be completely gone from the application areas. This year Renovate was applied to the north end of the Lake as well as down about half way on both shorelines. There should be some great before and after visuals beginning 4th of July weekend. Just remember that even in treated areas you will see some patches of milfoil growing as Allied guarantees a 90 % kill rate and there will be fragments that reseed but we expect it to be more nuisance than choking. We'll keep you posted on when you can drink the water and use it for watering flowers and vegetables.
Check out the Town of Cazenovia Website for more information!

If you lost your sticker(s) please email me or call 655-2008. Email is preferred. If you don't remember where your boat is supposed to be, check out the mooring maps on the website.
If you have brought a boat to the club and haven't sent in a mooring application or talked to me, please do so ASAP!
