From our friends at the NC Association of Certified Public Accountants: Making Cents: A Financial Literacy Program for All Ages Making Cents is a FREE financial literacy seminar being sponsored by the NC Association of Certified Public Accountants (NCACPA) Financial Literacy Council to help teens, parents, and teachers become more aware of their finances. MAKING CENTS: A Financial Literacy Program For All Ages Saturday, October 29 ▪ 9:30 am-2:30 pm NCSU McKimmon Center, Raleigh As the economy continues to occupy the minds of many, planning for the future has never seemed more uncertain nor has it ever been so important. Families everywhere seem confused about finances, anxious about paying for college, and unsure about their overall financial future. In our continued effort to help answer questions and make some sense of what families are facing, NCACPA is bringing back Making Cents! This year's event will continue to reinforce what is being taught in the classrooms and offer sessions specifically geared towards teens, parents, and teachers. Session topics include student loans, credit cards, budgets, and savings. This event is FREE!
