Snow Days Return For The Second Year/ College Hockey Game 1-15-2012
Indians Snow Days returns after a successful first season in which over 50,000 fans made Progressive Field their winter destination for snow tubing, ice skating and countless new memories.
Beginning with "Snopening Day" on November 25, 2011 and running through Martin Luther King Day January 16, 2012, Snow Days will again be the premier winter entertainment destination in downtown Cleveland.
Sunday January 15th the Ohio State Buckeyes will play the Michigan Wolverines in a collegiate hockey game hosted at Progressive Field. The Frozen Diamond Faceoff will be the first-ever outdoor college hockey game in the State of Ohio.

Lake County's Historic Kirtland To Feature
700 Nativity Creches
700 Nativity Crèches will be on display at Historic Kirtland, November 25-December 30, 2011. The Historic Kirtland Nativity Exhibit is a 2011 American Bus Association Top 100 Best Events winner.
Crèches large and small will be loaned to Historic Kirtland from around the world. 80,000 holiday lights will also brighten the exterior of the Historic Kirtland complex.
Hours: weekdays and Saturday, 9:00 am - 8:30pm; Sundays 11:30 am. - 8:30 pm. but closed Christmas Day. Admission is free. The nativity exhibit is one of the largest of its type mounted in the world.

Snowbelted: Winter's a Blast!
Winter is a challenge - but we own it! Learn more about cold weather survival at Geauga Park District's new large exhibit, Snowbelted: Winter's a Blast!, open November 1 through March 1 at The West Woods Nature Center in Russell Township.
Visitors will recall winters past with videos, photos, activities and games to combat cabin fever. Discover the origins of storm systems, lake effect snow, snowflakes and winter itself. And kids won't want to miss the Otter Banks slide and crawl-through vole tunnels!
