Geauga County to Host
April Meeting!
Hi Everyone, Maple Max here! I am the 'Good Will Ambassador' for Geauga County Tourism. I hope you are all planning on coming out to meet me on April 5th at Geauga County Historical Society's Century Village. It's a brand new venue for an Adventures meeting and has one of the best views in Geauga County. There will be an interesting program about using Special Events to drive new traffic to your venue. I stopped in to make sure they were ready for your visit and also to lay in a supply of pure Maple Syrup, you may want to do the same! Hope to see you on the 5th! Register today at

Michigan Sales Blitz a Success
Thank you to the partners that participated in the AINO sales mission to Michigan on March 23. Northeast Ohio was well represented as a destination to nearly 20 Michigan tour operators and travel planners at a tradeshow and luncheon in Dearborn, Michigan. We are planning another mission in the fall, tentatively early November.
If you have suggestions for new markets please contact Tonja Marshall

Cooperative Marketing Opportunities
The cooperative marketing committee is working with new vendors this year for possible cooperative advertising partnerships. The board asked us to look outside the region and members this year to try to drive new business to the region. With that directive from the board we contacted AAA Home and Away from Columbus, AAA Ohio Motorist, and Pittsburgh Magazine.
We are working with the three publications to put together competitive rates for you are members. AAA Home and Away, Columbus has all ready sent out information for the ad to run in the July issue, this is a huge savings over their normal prices for advertising. Joyce Clark Bryant is the sales person and she let me know that the pricing they gave us is even better than what the State did. Information from the other two publications will be sent to the members as soon as we have the completed offers.
Please consider these offers to advertise your business on a page with other Adventures in Northeast Ohio members. If you have any suggestions of other advertising you would like us to consider don't hesitate to contact me, Amy Rutledge, amyk@carrollcountyohio.com or Chris Meyers meyersc@playhousesquare.org |
