AAA GREAT VACATIONS EXPO
A SUCCESS!
Thank you to all of our Adventures in NE Ohio partners that participated in the AAA Great Vacations Expo, Jan 20-23. Our 'Tailgate' themed booth was extremely popular not only for the great giveaways, but for all the information provided to promote our area. With an estimated attendance of 10,000 this was the perfect venue to educate the leisure travel audience. The 'Spin to Win Wheel' had people lining up to enter the booth, and the Grand Prize basket with a $2,000 value generated over 600 leads that will be shared with all participating partners. A special Thank You to CTM Distribution for the use of a brochure rack at the show.
Great job everyone, a real co-op effort!

FROM OUR PRESIDENTS
PAST AND PRESENT

Fellow Adventures Members,
I can't even begin to tell you how incredibly excited I am to serve as the next President of Adventures in Northeast Ohio. This is such an exciting time for our region; one example is the Medical Mart; ground has finally been broken and we hope to see millions of dollars in economic revenue coming to the region as a result. Our organization is one of the strongest I've seen of its' nature; we're comprised of a terrific network of folks as connected and experienced as anyone else in nation.
2011 is already off and running; we held a Board Retreat with the new Board Members and had passionate discussions about the direction we want to take Adventures in Northeast Ohio. We look forward to sharing our vision with you in the next few months.
We represented NEO in Columbus at the AAA Great Vacations Expo and I can tell you with absolute certainty from talking to those in attendance-Ohioans are ready to pack a suitcase, fill up the tank and head out on the highway to explore.
Loyally, Kerry Woloszynek, Past President
Hello Members!
The past two years have been a real joy and privilege for me. I have had the opportunity to serve Adventures in Northeast Ohio with an amazing board of directors and one of the best paid staff ever. Mary Olah is a true champion for the tourism community and keeps the continuity from the board meetings all the way through the membership. I have to extend a special thanks to Lynda Nemeth as well. Serving as Immediate Past President, she provided invaluable knowledge and resources to assure a smooth transition and help this great organization continue to move forward. I know that Kerry will be a great President and I am proud to pass the torch to such an able person. I wish all my colleagues and friends the very best of luck and I hope to see you all at our next Adventure's Meeting!
Mark Winchell, Past President
