Dear Adventures Members,
As we wind down 2009, a brief reflection on the past year is always on my "to do" list. A tough economy overshadowed many of our businesses, yet as we head into this Holiday Season, we are still here. A great many thanks to the entire membership of Adventures in Northeast Ohio for your diligence and participation through these tough times. I would also like to extend a HUGE thank you to the Adventures Board and Committee members. As an organization, we would never have had all our success without their work.
Many thanks to all and on behalf of the Adventures in Northeast Ohio Board, we wish you and your family a very happy Holiday Season and a great New Year!

- Our December holiday event at the Blue Canyon Restaurant generated a lot of good ideas for future sessions and some yummy treats as well as the election of the new board.
- January 5th our meeting is to be held at the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage where Rory Robertson will speak to us about the Western Reserve Heritage Study and a fun-filled White Elephant Raffle will be held. Save those not quite right holiday gifts and wrap them up pretty for the raffle.
-
On February 2nd we will meet at the newly renovated Doubletree Hotel Cleveland Downtown/Lakeside to honor our presidents, both past and current. Joyce Brown, with the Singleton Partners will speak to us on multicultural marketing.
- Plan to attend because if you miss a meeting, you miss a lot!
Please contact Mary Lane if you are interested in hosting a meeting or if you have a program idea or speaker. |

It is that time again, to pay the annual dues to travel trade organizations. Please include Adventures in Northeast Ohio as one of those memberships. Adventures is a membership organization that works to promote the region to both the leisure traveler and the group tour market. Your dues are used to help with cooperative marketing, sales mission, educational and networking at meetings, internship project and more over the last year. Remember the more you put into any organization the more you will receive. So please include Adventures on the list of must join memberships. |
