| Worshipping with our Tithes and Offerings | | |
Our lesson from Sunday was from 2 Chronicles 24:1-14 where Joash and the people gave offerings. Helping children understand that everything comes from God is a wonderful concept to introduce early. Each week during Worship KidStyle there is an offering time. Preschool classes also have offering baskets in their classrooms. Find creative ways to help your child learn about giving back to God. The concept that everything comes from God and he allows us to keep 90% and only asks for 10% back is really amazing. Giving offerings is certainly more than giving money. We can give of our time, talents and energy. God wants whatever we give to be our very best and to be done with a great attitude.
Our focus verse for the day was:
Give to the LORD the glory He deserves! Bring your offering and come into His courts. Psalm 96:8

 The theme for trunks this year is:Favorite Children's Book1. Grab your Small Group, friends or
participate as a family!2. Choose a favorite Children's book.3. Let Danette know the title. 4. Decorate your trunk in the theme of your book. 5. Fill your trunk with candy!
Of course, you can go from trunk to trunk without having a car/truck in the line-up, BUT the more trunks, the more fun! This is a great time to invite friends that are not active in a church. You know they'll have a great time and they get to see how friendly the Rolling Hills family is!

| Remember to label those diaper bags! | | Remember to label, label, label! Please help our wonderful Preschool Teachers have a smooth morning caring for our little ones. Please make sure diaper bags are clearly labeled - and anything else that might come out of the bag and be used during their stay. Thanks for your help!

 Rolling Hills is excited to be a host venue for this event for tween girls and their moms! What is a Secret Keeper Girl? She values modesty, she surrounds herself with wise friends and she embraces Godly beauty. So, she keeps the deepest secrets of her beauty for just one man. But she also knows that she can share all of her heart secrets with her mom at any time. Read more about it here. Tickets are only $15 and can be purchased here.
We're also in need of a few volunteers. Looking for moms and daughters willing to be ushers, counselors, security and to sell merchandise. Volunteers will receive free admission. Interested? Contact Liz Owen.

| Family Dedication Service Sunday, November 14

Our next Family Dedication Service will be on Sunday, November 14, at 3pm. This special time will include music, Scripture readings, family pictures and a reception following the ceremony in the Gallery.
