I have worked with more physician families than any other group. For me, it is no surprise because physicians, like engineers, pilots, architects, computer experts, and visionary CEOs, are able to use their visual brains on the job.

The most successful of these professionals see pictures when they read or talk. They use 3-D thinking to do surgery, create flow charts or develop a blueprint. They use visual scanning to fly a plane, or troubleshoot a computer problem. They have what I call "Maverick Minds."

 

Guess What? Using your visual brain at work is an intense process.You are thinking without words! Visual thinking is also very powerful, very fast, very evolved.

Sometimes the brightest, most creative children can have trouble fitting into the verbal world socially, academically and within the family. We want to maximize the brain strengths to correct the brain problems. An over-active visual brain can develop from a line of visual thinkers in the family tree. Maverick Minds run in the family.

Why is this very good news? If there are visual thinkers in the family tree, the chance of becoming symptom-free can be excellent.
